From the very first discussion we were invited to hear them play before committing to book, and on first impressions our minds were already made up after about two songs! Rod Munro was very professional throughout and comprehensively discussed everything we should expect in the run up to the wedding, on the wedding day and everything that would be required. They liaised directly with the Moorland Garden Hotel so we didn't need to worry about anything venue related. The performance was stunning and the dance floor had never less than full. Soul Funktion from the lead singer through to the manager where absolutely brilliant both before and during our actual wedding reception. The bands performance on the night was epic – all our guests were straight up on the dance floor and many of our guests after the wedding commented on how excellent the band were. Also little touches like adding in Hey Jude and introducing our first dance helped make it a brilliant evening. I thoroughly recommend Soul Funktion as the best wedding band around.

We were delighted to have Soul Funktion play at our wedding. We received many compliments from our guests of all ages who thoroughly enjoyed their musicians talent, performance and stage presence, AND their play list selection, as did we! The dance floor was heaving with enthusiastic guests throughout the evening. The communication between ourselves, the band manager and the wedding venue from the very beginning was seamless and very straightforward - we had nothing to worry about as Rod took care of everything for us. We would recommend them to anyone considering a soul/ motown/ funk band perform at their wedding.
